Serious gun battle ensued between sea pirates and the Joint Military Task
Force along the Ogbia-Brass route of Nembe waterway of Bayelsa State on
Monday where a soldier was shot dead and a boat driver sustained heavy
gunshot wound.

According to report, the soldier died few hours after the attack at the
Medical centre of the Agip Brass terminal in Brass Local Government area
