Steps in packing some extra weight
- Always make sure to eat nutritious foods that are high in unit of heats. Examples of such fooda are whole-grain breads, vegetables such as avocados and potatoes, kidney beans, lean red meat, poultry and fish. Always make sure to eat some of these food.
- Make sure to increase the unit of heat value of your foods. Add powdered milk to casse roles for added calories, add a vocados and olives to sand wiches, add wheat germ to your cereal, add chopped meat to your pasta sauce, and so on.
- Do not forget to avoid skipping foods. Knowing how to gain weight involves lots and consistent eating. Eat three meals a day and at least two snacks.
- Make sure to increase your normal portion size. Take a second round of pasta, or add two bananas to your normal and regular meal.
- Choose higher-calorie foods when given a choice. Example is, corn is higher in calories than green beans.
- Relax your body and don't forget to do excessive fidgeting and restlessness can burn up a lot of heat unit.
- Never add weight lifting to your exercise activities. It helps build muscle mass. Not in packing weight.
- Balance your heat unit and intake with the number of calories you're burning. You need to be taking in more than you use up, and you may need to ease up a little on your exercise activity.
