Some unknown men armed with guns suspected to be members of Islamic sect, Boko Haram, earlier this week end planted Improvised Explosive Devices, IEDs in the lower position of the well known Madafuma bridge conecting 185km Biu- Damboa- Maiduguri federal road where it blow up with very loud noise and damaged some extraordinary part of the bridge leaving motorists and passengers helpless.
In about 10 days ago, there was a huge attect made by the sect on the road where the group sacked the 195 Batta lion if the 7 Division of the Nigerian Army, after killing the Commanding Officer along side a Divisional Police Officer and over 15 soldiers and 6 policemen.
The bombing made by the Islamic group, as said by Mallam Musa Yakubu, the incident took place on Saturday at about 2am when people were still their bed.
