If the abducted Chibok girls are rescued from the
Boko Haram den, former Minister for Education and
#BringBackOurGirls front liner, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili,
would display her dancing skills, she said on
Monday.Some heavily armed men stormed Government Girls’ College, Chibok in Borno State, 328 days ago, and whisked away over 200 girls to Sambisa forest.
Since then, several calls by the international community for the girls’ freedom were futile.
However, President Goodluck Jonathan had recently vowed that his administration would do all within his power to bring back the girls. Ezekwesili, who has been championing the #BringBackOurGirls group has vowed to dance and celebrate if the girls eventually regain their freedom.
“Obydance Obydancee, When the news of the RESCUE of OUR Girls shall break someday soon, my legendary dance steps shall evolve,” she posted on her Twitter page.
