The midfielder was a very influential figure and helped madrid win La Decima but Carlo Ancelloti said Real Madrid decided to cash in on the versatile midfielder this summer due to the hefty wage demand of the Argentine.
Ancelloti who has coached greats like Zinedine Zidane and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, said Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player he has ever trained and it isn't easy resting him cos he always delivers and is reliable.
He also said Rodrigues who cost €80m is worth every penny. Ancelloti said he isn't being forced to play him and the president of Real Madrid cannot force him to play any player or else he would quit
