Nigeria Police arrested a 19-year old Peter Braimoh for raping a 24 year-old nursing mother

According to report, "police in Agenebode, Etsako East Local Government of Edo State has arrested a 19-year old teenager known as Peter Braimoh who badly raped a 24 year-old nursing mother in Edo". state.

Peter Braimoh was told to enter in to the room through the window in about 4am having full assurance that her husband is not around. It was told that when the old teenager got in to the room, he asked the woman to undress herself or her small bady will be shot dead.

The 24-year-old mother was pleading to the young man to take whatever he want from the room and leave her alone, but the suspect was told to have gone for the small baby and turned him upside down forcing the mother to go on her kneels as she begged the suspect to spare the life of the small baby.

Following the persistent threat, the nursing mother agreed to the suspect’s advances and she was raped by the suspect. But after the incident, they took the matter to the police Division in Agenebode.

The police then went in to action. They trailed the old teenager to an undisclosed location where he was arrested. The Police in Agenebode transferred the case to the State Police headquarters in Benin City last Sunday.

The suspect however said:

“ The devil pushed me to go and make love to her because I have been seeing her. I don’t know when and how it happened, I am only appealing that they should forgive me I will not try such thing again in my life”.

The raped mother who is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital, was told to have appealed to the police to inquire the matter and prosecute the suspect. Edo state Police Commissioner, Foluso Adebanjo assured that the matter would be charged to court after investigation.
